My name is Alain Rolland

I was born and raised in Brittany (France) and lived in the US for the past 30 years. I live in San Diego, California with my wife, three boys and four grandchildren. I am a Doctor of Pharmacy with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences.  I have worked for three decades in the United States in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. I love music and painting, which I practice as an amateur, reading historical and adventure novels, scuba diving, hiking and travelling. I have written historical novels in French and English and now preparing a contemporary thriller.  Stay tuned!
